Hollow Rod Specialized Filter Knife For Cigarette Making Machine For Assembled Filters
Filter Knife is a component of cigarette making machines to slice filter rod after being connected to cigarette rod.
Ferritic Stainless Steels
Ferritic stainless steels possess a ferrite micro-structure like carbon steel, which is a body-centered cubic crystal structure, and contain between 10.6% and 27.2% chromium with very little or no nickel. They are magnetic.
This micro-structure is present at all temperatures due to the chromium addition, so they are not hardened by heat treatment. They cannot be strengthened by cold work to the same degree as austenitic stainless steels.
Nitrogen-Alloyed Martensitic Stainless Steels
Replacing some carbon in martensitic stainless steels by nitrogen is a just recent development. The limited solubility of nitrogen would be increased by the pressure electroslag refining process, in which melting is carried out under nitrogen pressure. Steel containing up to 0.41% nitrogen is achieved, leading to higher hardness and strength and higher corrosion resistance. As PESR is expensive, lower but significant nitrogen contents have been achieved by using the standard argon oxygen decarburization process.
Machines Applicable:
We are offering Filter Knife for basically all cigarette maker models. Displayed knives are for Molins MK8 and MK9, with no screw inside.
For most models the difference is just between sizes (outer and inner diameter )
